MYSTIC TAN - The Mystic Tan™ Booth is designed to deliver a customized sunless tanning application to each customer based on their body size, skin type, and desired color. There are three tanning level options available to produce the optimal tanning results for each individual customer. This produces a natural looking tan without UV rays.

ULTRABRONZ 950 Series - See the color difference immediately! Expect to be impressed! One to two visits in our high-pressure sunbeds are equivalent to ten times the tanning power than in a conventional low-pressure sunbed. To maintain this deep, natural tan only 1 or 2 sessions a month is necessary.

High-Pressure bulbs are much smaller in size and can be used to tan the face or the full body. A unique filter system alows Ultrabronz beds to filter out most of the UVB rays, using just enough to stimulate the melanin leaving the UVA rays to darken the skin.

When exposed to UVA light, the melanin oxidizes and causes the skin to darken to a deep golden brown. Because the 950 Series filters out most of the UVB rays, your skin is able to maintain normal exfoliation, which in turn allows your skin to tan much longer!

For your information - the essential difference between standard and high-pressure sunbeds, is the type of bulbs they use. Instead of the fluorescent tubular bulbs used in standard units, high-pressure sunbeds use quartz bulbs to vary their UV output. In addition, the UltraBronz high-pressure sunbeds, featured at the spa, have a series of filters in the lamps that remove most of the undesirable and most dangerous UVB wavelengths so that only UVA wavelengths reach the body. These wavelengths are considered among the best for indoor tanning.

How it works - Every living thing sheds (exfoliates) its outer layer, and we normally exfoliate our outer layer of skin about every 28 days. Tanning with UV light accelerates this cycle to somewhere between 5 and 10 days since UVB light tans only our outer layer of skin, which exfoliates every 5 to 10 days.

We fade if we let more than just a few days go between tanning sessions. Also, in response to UVB our outer layer of skin thickens as a natural barrier to further UV exposure. It is this thickening that contributes to the appearance of fine-line wrinkles.

Ultrabronz high-pressure sunbeds virtually tan with only UVA light, our body is allowed to return to its normal 29-day exfoliation cycle.

High-pressure tanning also tans the second and third layers of skin. So even when your outer layer of skin exfoliates, the layers of skin beneath it are still tan.
Finally, UVA light does not cause the outer layer of skin to thicken, so tanning on the Ultrabronz sunbeds will not contribute to fine-line wrinkles/premature aging. High-pressure tanning is the most advanced way to tan. UVB rays are responsible for burning. Ultrabronz sunbeds have filtered out most UVB rays.

ULTRABRONZ ~ "Voyager" ~

This "medium-pressure" bed features 5 of the same high-pressure facial lights as in our UltraBronz beds. 44 VHR (very high reflector) lamps will give you a tan that is out of this world.

Indoor Tanning Lotions ~

The use of indoor tanning lotions can increase your tanning results by up to 67% while minimizing the elements in the environment that can cause fine lines and wrinkles. The more moisturized your skin is, the healthier it is. The healthier it is, the more receptive it is to UV wavelengths.

It is important to keep your skin moisturized not only when tanning, but also on a day-to-day basis. A full selection of lotions is available on display.
